With 10 years of veterinary experience, Dr. Sailee Walavalkar has been caring for dogs and cats since beginning her private clinical practice immediately after graduation in 2016.

She believes that good veterinary care begins at home with the right nutrition, appropriate activity, mental well-being and an attentive pet parent who knows what is normal for their pet and can recognise when something changes.

Every Pet Matters.

A Personalised Approach to Veterinary Care

Every pet has a different personality, routine and history. Dr. Sailee believes that understanding these individual details is an important part of providing meaningful veterinary guidance.

She is particularly passionate about helping first-time pet parents navigate concerns around behaviour, feeding, routines and everyday care. Her approach focuses on clear explanations and practical guidance, helping pet parents feel more confident in caring for their pets.

With years of experience managing a wide range of cases, she takes the time to understand the complete picture before suggesting a plan, with an emphasis on evidence-based advice and realistic solutions suited to each pet.

She also values continuity of care, remembering a pet’s history, habits and previous concerns so that guidance remains truly personalised.

Dr. Sailee started Call My Vet to make reliable veterinary guidance more accessible, especially for pet parents with anxious pets, those with limited access to veterinary care, and those seeking a second opinion when a concern is not resolving as expected.

Through Call My Vet, her aim is to help pet parents understand what is normal, what may need attention, and what to expect next. After every consultation, the goal is not simply to answer a question, but to ensure the pet parent understands the situation and feels confident about the next step.

“Your pet should never feel like just another case.”

Why I Became a Veterinarian

My love for animals started when I was very young. I would often rescue stray animals and help provide them with basic first aid. While I was in school, I came across a poem about a veterinarian. The way my teacher explained that veterinarians help and care for souls that cannot speak stayed with me.

From then on, I knew I wanted to become a veterinarian. After graduating in 2016, I started practicing immediately and have continued caring for dogs and cats ever since.

Today, Call My Vet is an extension of what I have always believed veterinary care should be: personal, practical, compassionate and centred around the individual pet.
