Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: September 2026

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Call My Vet website and veterinary consultation services.

By booking or using a Call My Vet consultation, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. About Call My Vet

Call My Vet provides online veterinary consultations for dogs and cats through audio and video communication.

The service is intended to provide professional veterinary guidance based on the history, information and visual material available during the consultation.

2. Nature and Limitations of Online Consultation

Online veterinary consultation has inherent limitations because the veterinarian may not be able to physically examine the animal or perform diagnostic tests or procedures.

The veterinarian will use professional judgment to determine what guidance can reasonably be provided remotely.

Where necessary, the pet parent may be advised to arrange:

  • Physical veterinary examination
  • Laboratory investigations
  • Diagnostic imaging
  • Procedures or treatment
  • Hospitalisation
  • Specialist consultation
  • Emergency veterinary care

Booking an online consultation does not guarantee that the pet's condition can be diagnosed or managed entirely online.

3. Emergency Cases

Call My Vet does not provide emergency veterinary services.

If your pet is experiencing a medical emergency, please contact or visit the nearest appropriate veterinary hospital or emergency veterinary facility immediately.

Do not wait for an online consultation where delaying physical veterinary attention could endanger your pet.

4. Pet Parent Responsibilities

The pet parent is responsible for providing information that is accurate, complete and relevant to the consultation.

This includes, where applicable, the pet's medical history, current symptoms, medications, allergies, previous treatment, diagnostic reports and any other information requested by the veterinarian.

Photos, videos and medical records submitted should relate to the pet being consulted.

Incomplete or inaccurate information may affect the veterinarian's ability to provide appropriate guidance.

5. Consultation Appointments

Consultations are provided according to the duration and format selected during booking.

Pet parents should be available and ready to join at the scheduled appointment time.

If the pet parent joins late, the consultation will still end at the originally scheduled time so that subsequent appointments are not delayed.

The veterinarian will wait for up to 10 minutes after the scheduled start time. After this period, the appointment may be treated as a no-show and will be non-refundable.

6. Follow-up Consultations

A follow-up consultation is intended for discussion of the same concern addressed during the original Call My Vet consultation.

The follow-up consultation is: 10 minutes | ₹299

It is valid until the 10th day after the first consultation.

A new health concern, unrelated condition or issue requiring substantially new assessment may require a new consultation.

7. Prescriptions and Recommendations

Any medication, treatment, investigation or other recommendation will be provided only when the veterinarian considers it professionally appropriate based on the information available.

The veterinarian may decline to prescribe a medication or may require physical examination or additional diagnostic information before making certain recommendations.

8. Consultation Reports

Following a consultation, Call My Vet may provide a veterinary consultation report containing relevant assessment, guidance, recommendations and next steps.

The report should be interpreted in the context of the consultation during which it was provided.

9. Recording and Documentation

Consultations may be documented for professional record-keeping, continuity of care and medico-legal purposes.

Where recording, transcription or similar technology requiring consent is used, appropriate notice and consent will be obtained as applicable.

10. Payments

Consultation fees must be paid through the payment methods made available during booking.

A booking may be considered confirmed only after successful payment and confirmation from Call My Vet.

11. Cancellation, Rescheduling and Refunds

Cancellations, rescheduling, no-shows and refunds are governed by the Call My Vet Cancellation & Refund Policy available on this website.

12. Technical Requirements

The pet parent is responsible for having a suitable device, internet connection and audio/video functionality required for the selected consultation.

If technical difficulties occur, reasonable attempts may be made to reconnect or continue the consultation through an appropriate available method.

13. Professional Judgment

Veterinary recommendations are based on the information reasonably available during the consultation.

Call My Vet does not guarantee a particular diagnosis, treatment outcome or recovery.

Changes in your pet's condition after the consultation may require reassessment or immediate physical veterinary care.

14. Website and Service Availability

Call My Vet may modify, temporarily suspend or update website features, consultation systems or services where reasonably required for maintenance, security or operational purposes.

15. Intellectual Property

Website content, branding, written material, graphics and other original material belonging to Call My Vet may not be copied, reproduced, distributed or commercially used without appropriate permission, except where permitted by law.

16. Changes to These Terms

Call My Vet may update these Terms & Conditions when necessary. The latest version will be displayed on the website with its revision date.

Continued use of the services following an update will be subject to the version applicable at the relevant time.
